So normally we make our smoothies with blueberries but we ran out and haven’t made it to Costco yet to get anymore. Instead, I’ve been using frozen bananas. Turns out, they’re a nice alternative to the usual. Only bummer is that they don’t have the same antioxidant power. But they’re super green which is fun.
Green Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie
1/2 – 1 whole frozen banana sliced up into small pieces (the more banana, the thicker the shake)
1 cup spinach
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/4 cup Protein Plus peanut flour
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
Blend everything together and enjoy.
